You will login to the Google launch page. Navigate to your drive by clicking the nine square array, in the top right corner of the launch page.

Director Scheduling Tool Walkthrough

The nine square array will open a Google tools drop down menu. Google documents and files are stored on Google Drive. Click the "Drive" to access the files you have stored.

In the Drive homepage you will see your stored files, you will want to work with a file marked "Original SLP-A Supervision", it is a Google Form and will have a purple icon. You can also search for the form by entering: "Original SLP-A Supervision" into the "Search Bar" bar and clicking the magnifying glass.

To share the scheduling form with new supervisors you will first need to sign on to your Oliver BC connected Google account. By going to the Google main page and clicking the "Sign In" button.

Clicking on the "Original SLP-A Supervision" file will open the Google form. This is the original copy of the scheduling form and new supervisors will need a copy of the form shared with them. The first step is to make a copy of the Original SLP-A Supervision form. To start click the three vertical dot icon near the top right corner.

On the drop down menu find the "Make a Copy" option. Click the option to make a copy of this form that can be shared with a new supervisor. 

You will be prompted to change the name of the new form, from "Copy of Original SLP-A Supervision". The new name should include the name of the new supervisor you are sharing this form with. Enter "[new supervisor's first name] SLP-A Supervision" into the "Name" box. Then save the new form by clicking the "OK" button.

Your new form will open up. You can check the form name in the upper left corner of the screen. This name should match the name you entered in the previous step. You are now ready to share this file with the new supervisor. First click the three dot icon for drop down menu again.

This time look for the "Add collaborators" option from the drop down menu. This option will take you to a menu where you can share the form with the new supervisor.

Look for the "Invite people" text box, and enter the Oliver-BC email address of the new supervisor. Then click "Send".

The new supervisor will be added to the list of people with access. Find the supervisor and click the "pencil" icon to the right of the supervisor's name and email. This drop down menu will have two options: "Is Owner" and "Can Edit". Click the "Is Owner" option.

In the list of people with access the text to the right of the new supervisor should have changed to "Is owner". With the new supervisor the owner of the form they have more access to edit the form and can find the form easier. The form is now ready for the new supervisor to use.
